1st Annual Meeting For Russian Toy Dog Club of America August 13-15, 2010 At aReLeTTe Kennel 7445 Riverside Drive Powell, Ohio 43065 and at 9333 Lerwick Drive Dublin, Ohio 43017 Please make this meeting an item to mark on your calendar and come to the Russian Toy Dogs in Ohio. Liz Moore has been a guiding force along with another veteran AKC person, Helayne Parker, to position our club in the most positive way with AKC. Thank You! Agenda Aug 13: Friday night. This will be a “meet and greet” evening at the “Small Wonders Guest House” and aReLeTTe Kennel, located on 7445 Riverside Drive, Powell, Ohio 43065. All dogs are welcome and with the completion of the kennel room and a fenced yard with all sort of agility challenges, they will have a great time “sniffing on another”. Aug 14: Saturday morning. Dog Show practice including registering, judging, tips on showmanship and table presentation. We have Agility equipment set up in the fenced yard. We will have some fun with getting our dogs to try them out. Lunch on our own. Late Sat. afternoon we will gather at 9333 Lerwick Drive for the Annual Meeting followed by dinner. Aug 15: Sunday morning. For those of you who can stay for a few hours, we are offering a “behind the scenes at Discovery Reef” tour at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium – voted the Nr.1 Zoo in America!! We would love to see as many of you as possible at this our 1st Annual Meeting of the Russian Toy Dog Club of America, Inc. About our Club
The Russian Toy Dog Club of America, Inc. is a National Breed Club, a non profit organization established to promote the responsible ownership and breeding of the Russian Toy Dog in the United States. Along with establishing and maintaining the integrity of the First Russian Toy Dog Registry available to all eligible Russian Toy Dogs, we will inform and educate the public about this wonderful and unique breed. This club is open to anyone who: wishes to learn, share, support, help protect, and strive to maintain the beauty and nature of the Russian Toy Dog. We will work to preserve and maintain the natural characteristics of this breed by encouraging members to participate in a variety of canine activities including but not limited to agility, companion, conformation, and obedience. The Russian Toy Dog is a rare breed in North America and much of our interaction is online – we welcome your participation in our club.
